Important Update: We Won’t Be at the Show This Year, But We’ve Got Something Special for You!

After much thought and careful consideration, we’ve decided we won’t be attending the WWETT Show in 2025. We know many of you have come to expect us at the event each year, and we wanted to take a moment to explain why we’ve chosen a different path this time around.

Last year, we had everything planned to bring our Badger Trench Boxes to the show, along with our Badger truck, as we’ve done in previous years. However, just two weeks before the event, our driver—who was undergoing cancer treatment—experienced a major setback leaving him unable to drive. Suddenly, we were left scrambling to find a solution to get our products down to the show.

In the end, we decided to rent a U-Haul truck to transport our Badger Trench Boxes. While we thought this would be a quick and simple fix, we soon ran into another issue. The show staff wasn’t thrilled about having a U-Haul in the booth, and one particular staff member couldn’t seem to get past it, despite us having fully paid for the booth space. It got to the point where we were given two choices: either pay $3,000 for them to cover the U-Haul or figure something out ourselves.

We chose the DIY route and spent hours covering the U-Haul with bedsheets to avoid any further issues. While we did what we could to make the best of a difficult situation, it turned into a logistical nightmare that left us feeling frustrated and drained by the end of the event.

When we looked at the overall costs of attending—the booth space (around $25,000), travel expenses, meals for our team, and accommodations—it became clear the value we were getting from attending the show simply wasn’t worth the time, money and stress. Last year’s experience made us realize as a small, family-owned business, we could find a better way to serve our customers without the added expense of a large event.

So, after careful thought, we’ve made the decision to stay home this year and pass the savings directly to you. Instead of attending the show, we’re not raising our prices in 2025
